Borealis Valve-Control Integration - August 29th, 2022

The team mounted the main fuel valve and main oxidizer valve on the propellant stand, connected their pneumatic actuators to an air compressor and the control hardware, and actuated both valves.

Result

The control system could address five solenoid valves. The radio link was unreliable during the demonstration, so a manual switch was used to operate the mounted valves. This was a control and actuator integration test; no test fluid was loaded or flowed.
