SPRINT Cold Flow Test - August 9th, 2025

Test Sequence

This was the first weekend with the complete SPRINT system integrated. The GSE-side leak check was recorded as passed at 9:08 a.m., and the full-system leak check passed at 10:19 a.m. The team then flowed carbon dioxide as the oxidizer simulant and distilled water as the fuel simulant.

Failure and Data Limits

The igniter did not integrate successfully, so the campaign stopped before the planned hot fire. No telemetry was recorded for the cold flow. The stacked tank used one load cell for total tank mass, so it could not measure the carbon-dioxide and water mass changes independently.
