SPRINT Structural and Piston Qualification - July 2025

The 2025 Launch Canada report records completed load checks of the SPRINT support hardware and a separate pressure hold behind the tank piston. The report does not give the individual test dates. The team record places these tests after SPRINT began in July 2025.

Structural tests

The tank tripod carried three times its expected load. A calibrated hydraulic ram applied 500 lbf at the test stand's engine flange, twice its nominal load. Its fasteners were then checked after ten cycles from 0 to 250 lbf; no M8 or M10 fasteners loosened.

Piston pressure hold

The stacked tank's piston held 800 psig during its documented functional test. The same report lists 1,335 psig as the design proof target for the complete tank; it does not document that target as an achieved test pressure.
